15,000 Points to Winning Council
Starting December 1 and running through December 31, 2013, every council submitting a Form 450 will be entered into a drawing for 15,000 points to be redeemed for any product in the Knights of Columbus incentive catalog. The drawing will be held during the first week of January and the winner will be announced on our web page. Councils may either host or participate in a First Degree and must have at least one new member being exemplified. Councils can only claim one entry for each Form 450 regardless of the number of Knights exemplified, but can submit multiple Form 450s.
15,000 Points to Winning Individual
Starting January 1 and running through January 31, 2014, each Brother Knight sponsoring a new Knight as a proposer will be entered into a 15,000 points drawing to be given away during the first week of February. Proposers will be taken from Form 100's as per Supreme records. Make sure that your new member form is received in time from Supreme. You may also send a copy of the Form 100 to the State Membership with the proposer name and member number clearly printed. New members must be registered with Supreme in order for the proposer to be eligible.

DECEMBER through JANUARY
One Post-High School Student to receive a $500.00 scholarship.
Are you a post-high school student and need additional money for books, tuition or meals this February? To be eligible for the $500 scholarship, recruit one (1) new member, be active in your parish and community, and complete the application. Applications will be reviewed and the scholarship will be awarded in early February. Please follow the guidelines below to be eligible for the $500 scholarship:
- Recruit one new member
Each applicant must recruit at least one new member that is also a post-high school student. The new member must be exemplified into the first degree by the end of January and into a Nebraska council. The student recruiting the new member does not need to be a member of a council in Nebraska.
- Activities in your parish
Each post-high school proposer must submit a short essay on his activities inside his parish. Include such things as being a server, EMHC, lector, acolyte, directorships or CCD activities. ANY church activity will be considered.
- Activities in your community
Each post-high school proposer must submit a short essay on his activities inside his community. A community activity is defined as any volunteer work for your college, fraternity, city, or within any organization doing volunteer work. We are only interested in a description of your volunteer work and not what organization it is associated with.
